- 400 grams of portobello mushrooms
- One onion
- Flour
- Bread crumbs
- Salt
- Pepper
- Spices to taste
- The first thing is to chop the mushrooms well. I use a mincer, but you can do it with a knife even if it is too cumbersome.
- In a frying pan, simmer the chives.
- Once poached, add the chopped mushrooms and cook very well. We put them over medium-high heat because they will start to release water, and so it will evaporate. At this point, we add salt and spices to taste.; For example, curry, garlic powder, oregano, etc.
- Once cooked, we let it set aside for a while to cool down. After that, we knead the mixture well with little breadcrumbs. If you are not vegan, you can also put a little egg as if we were making traditional hamburgers. You will detect the texture yourself by being able to form good hamburgers and make them firm. It is tricky to put quantities, so you will have to do it by eye.
- With the help of a plating ring, we make the hamburgers. We put a little flour on top.
- We pass them through the plate with a bit of oil, and that’s it!
